After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Ukraine ranked third in the world in terms of the number of nuclear warheads. In its fields and forests in the early 90's, 1272 bombs were hidden that could destroy the Earth several times. Only the United States and Russia had a more formidable arsenal.
Today we offer to visit a unique object - the Museum of Strategic Missile Forces, which is located on the site of the former 309th regiment of the 46th missile division and is a testament to the former military greatness and the triumph of engineering.
During the tour you will see:
- mine launcher - the only one that has been preserved in Ukraine;
- an underground command post in a 40-meter-deep mine. Its defenses can withstand a direct hit from a nuclear warhead;
- underground tunnels at a depth of 3 meters, through which all movement was carried out on the territory of the base.
On the territory of the base there are samples of rocket engines, rocket trucks, fuel tankers for rocket fuel, a mock-up of a nuclear warhead, as well as R-12 missiles (the one that played a key role in the Caribbean crisis of 1961) and RS-20 B (SS-18 "Satan").
And most importantly, all the guides are former rocket officers who served here from 1989 to 1999.

You will be given the opportunity to sit in the chair to which the operator was strapped to withstand the concussion from an atomic shock, turn the key and press the very "red" button that could have caused America to cease to exist.
Only two people can lift down into the mine, accompanied by a guide. Take a chance and get an unforgettable experience.
! On the territory of the museum there is a cafe where you can order a La carte dishes or ready meals, which must be ordered in advance from the tour operator.
! You will have time to take a walk on the territory of the museum and take bright photos.
